AroundMe is a helpful tool that provides valuable information about your surroundings. This app is perfect for those moments when you need to quickly locate the closest amenities.
With its user-friendly interface, AroundMe promptly detects your current position and offers a wide range of options such as finding the nearest bank, bar, gas station, hospital, hotel, movie theater, restaurant, supermarket, theater, and taxi. By simply tapping on a category of your interest, you will be presented with a comprehensive list of businesses in that particular field, accompanied by their distances from your location.
Moreover, AroundMe offers several useful features for each listing. You can view the location on a map, see the route from your position, add the information directly to your contact list, or even email it to a friend. In addition, the app provides a Nearby listing which allows you to access Wikipedia and discover interesting information about your surroundings.
AroundMe is fast, easy to use, and highly accurate. It serves as an indispensable companion for your day-to-day activities.
It's important to note that the app's Weather push feature may use your location even when it's not open. This could potentially decrease your device's battery life.
